Kodanad View Point
The Kodanad View Point is located around 18 km east of Kotagiri town at a height of near about 6500 ft.Due to its location it is also called the Terminus Country.The  Kodanadview point is one of the main tourist spots of the region. You can view the distant plateaus, tea estates, Thengumarahada village, Kil-Kotagiri region peaks, the Moyarriver, etc from here. Kodanad View Point can be visited throughout the year

Kil-Kotagiri
13 km north east of Kotagiri is situated the small town called KilKotagiri..Denad, Thuneri, Buckada are the villages around Kil-Kotagiri. Mahalingaswami temple, Jedayaswami temple and Kannimariamman temple are situated near Kil-Kotagiri.

Rangaswamy Peak
Located at a distance of 12 km from Kil-Kotagiri, the highly captivating Rangaswamy peak is revered by the Irulas tribes and sacred place for Thousand of families in and around porangaduseemai (kotagiri region),Located at the altitude of 1800M Above MSL. It is the most sacred hill on the plateau. Visited by devotees during the summer month and pray Lord Rangaswamy.

Rangaswamy Pillar
Rangaswamy Pillar is found on the north west side of Rangaswamy Peak. It is an extraordinary isolated rocky pillar rising in solitary grandeur to a height of some 400 feet (120 m) and has sheer narrow sides which are quite unclimbable.

Thengumarahada
The paddy bowl of the Nilgiris", is situated in Kotagiritaluk, at the foothills of the Kodanadu hills. This place could be reached via the BhavaniSagar reservoir also.

Ooty
Ooty is called the Scotland of the East andalso known as the Queen of Hill Stations in Tamilnadu. The exquisite Botanical Gardens which were established in 1847is the main attraction. The placid Ooty Lake is another major attraction of the hill town. The town is well connected to the rest of India by road and rail, and its historic sites and natural beauty.  The Heritage Rail is a not to miss attraction.

Coonoor
Coonoor is located at an altitude of 1,850 m above sea level, and is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiri hills. The botanical garden called the Sims Park is the main attraction. The park plays host to a thousand varieties of trees, plants and flowers and there is also a small lake. The famous Pasteur Institute and the view point Dolphins Nose is also here.
